Triptyque...awesome architectural design

http://www.coolhunting.com/design/triptyque.php

Some really interesting design choices. I really like the use of windows in the designs of the buildings. They describe one of the buildings as having an erotic window. Interesting to say the least

Postcarden

This is a new take on the concept of greeting cards...and it's pretty cool. A fairly good reason to actually save the cards you get.

Interesting Website Design Choice

http://protein.co.uk/

It's a design website, and while some elements are poorly done(the blog on the left handside of the page), the most interesting part is the time interface. It's simple but shows a new way at looking at time

Really Cool Interactive Home System

I hope all homes in the future are packaged with something like this. Being able to control everything from security to your home theater using multiple interactive applications such as a desktop, iphone, or proprietary remote, seems like a really good idea for future integreation of the internet in your home

Portfolio Mockup

First my CV
Alright now I will explain the premise of my interactive portfolio. This is a mockup of the hompage:
As you can see I did a play on words with portfolio, and the experience being a sea port where shipping containers are lifted off ships. To get to the different categories you simply click on one of the three shipping containers that contain words at the top. After doing that, a magnetic crane will pick up one of the containers and place it on a new animation frame. You can see the mockups of the shipping containers and the crane below:

After the shipping container is dropped, the container opens up, and moves on to zooming in on the information inside the container as seen below:

As you can see the buttons are the shipping containers from earlier, and the home page is the boat itself. Very simple and easy to understand.

I would like to work for a game studio, preferably in some sort of production or design position in the future. An interactive portfolio would could potentially be very helpful in getting noticed.
